Aarrrgh! I take my first driving test in about 3 hours! Getting a little bit nervous now. My instructor, Conrad, thinks I should pass, but in the end it all comes down to exactly what happens on the drive. We’ll see, I guess.

In other news, I am proud to say that my PC withstood a viral/adware attack early yesterday evening. I was installing some supposedly-OK software for CD ripping, and it attempted to install about six adware programs, one or other of which included ot one but two distict trojans. My personal blend of anti-adware/spyware/virus software, plus both hardware and software firewalls and a nice little app that asks me before letting anything change the registry, seem to have completely stopped it in its tracks. I followed all their advice, step by step, and when I ran a virus and adware scan after, nothing was picked up. Great!

Well, dunno how much I’m actually gonna use this, but might as well write something. Just gotten onto this Bebo thing, looking useful, and until I get around to fixing a real blog of my own, this is better than nothing.

Life’s boring atm, school, coursework, paid work, and various music stuff – comme d’habitude. Easter hols are gonna be work, work, work, of one sort or another, and then deadlines and revision and exams and exam leave and BBQs and summer and happiness and nervousness and results and either Yay or Noooo and then…
